Hi, my name is Comet.
I am one of Santa’s famous reindeer. Can you guess how I got my name? Well, when I was born, a beautiful comet came streaking across the sky. So naturally my parents couldn’t name me anything else.
Thank goodness they didn’t see a falling star, or they would have named me “Falling” or “Star”. That would have been pretty weird.
I have a very important job up here at the North Pole. It’s to make sure all the reindeer always practice their flying. This part of my job is not very hard because the reindeer love to fly. The hard part is to stop them from flying all the time and make sure they get plenty of rest.
Well, that is my story and I hope you enjoyed it. I will see all of you on Christmas Eve.
